About a year ago we added GOC Rotterdam to the Customs Support family. Until recently they operated under the GOC name, but now that they have successfully integrated they will continue as Customs Support Safety as of January 1st, 2022.

The most obvious confined space you might think about when thinking about measuring gas is the shipping container.

We are proud to announce that Van Tienen Group and PX Safety are now Customs Support Safety. GOC Rotterdam is also part of Customs Support Safety.

90 Percent of the world’s cargo is transported by shipping container. The number of containers keeps increasing. In 2019 the total throughput was 800 million TEU. TEU stands for Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit, the length of a standard shipping container. COVID caused a small dip in the increase for 2020, but the forecast for 2021 is 827 million and the total throughput is forecasted to rise to 924 million in 2024.
